Budapest - a night's boat ride

There was this one day in Budapest where after having walked all day in the heat we came upon a pier lined with dinner and tour boats. Our 4 and 6 year old's little legs were exhausted and a scenic tour along the Danube was the perfect solution.
Especially since we were in no way ready to head back to the hotel. This is the time when cities come alive after all.

This particular cruise offered a 1 1/2 hour tour with an audio history lesson. And wine.
There was the kicker because then it becomes a full sensory experience :)

Then we caught sight of the Parliament Building.
And this is where my camera lens stayed fixed for awhile. A long while.
I mean, just look at it.........

Looking the other way for a bit.

There is a large exhalation, for me, looking through these photographs.
I know I gush all over these pictures I took in Europe, but I really had such a freaking fabulous time.
Every single day.

It gets the blood pumping and boy am I ever concocting the next one!

Next, is a jaunt on the Buda side...
